Boston’s Best Outdoor Dining

In Boston we have a very small window of time when we can get out and actually enjoy the weather, so its no surprise that when the sun comes out…so do the residents.  For a city that spends the majority of the year wearing coats and scarves there is a surprising amount of outdoor dining.  Here are some local favorites…

If your headed to the Back Bay area try Bouchee for French Cuisine and fine wines or Parish Cafe for casual, affordable, American Cuisine.  Want good food, drinks, and people watching? Stephanie’s On Newbury is the place to go, this chic relaxed atmosphere is sure to please.

Boston’s North End has beautiful views, historic sites and the best Italian food Boston has to offer.  On a budget? Try Mother Anna’s, this gem sits at the entrance of Hanover Street and as the oldest family restaurant in the North End you’ll feel like you’re sitting in Grandma’s kitchen…or on Grandma’s patio.  Looking for a great date spot? Try Ristorante Fiore with patio seating and one of Boston’s only roof decks you can’t go wrong.

Cask’n Flagon, Boston Beer Works, and Burtons Grill are great locations to watch the game or just enjoy the fresh air.

Feel like lounge hopping? These South End spots are all within walking distance of each other, but the outdoor dining and proximity are just about all the have in common… Start at Stella or Gaslight for dinner then head to 28 Degrees, where they’ll serve you tapas and just about any martini you can dream up, after a few martini’s you may feel like dancing- walk next door to Masa where you’ll find fun Mexican Cuisine, hit them up on Thursdays for Salsa night.
